At the meeting point of Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan, there is a small triangular area where the Beloutch live. The Beloutch people are renowned for their hand-knotted woolen tapestries.
However, that is not the only thing they are known for. The Beloutch also make beautiful dresses with extraordinary hand-embroidered designs. The base fabric is often of cheap origin, chosen for it’s silk characteristics or it’s see-through look. It then is embroidered with beautiful patterns. The end product is a lively, authentic and highly fashionable dress.
All dresses are vintage. Sometimes the dress has a little spot or hole. This is simply part of the dress, and adds an extra element it.
