Beautiful Shyrdak felt rug, the oblong design is suitable as a runner in a hallway or landing space. The striking pattern in contrasting colours is made using the traditional Shyrdak rug-making technique by the nomad tribes of Kyrgizstan.
We at Shirdak firmly believe in Fair Trade partnerships. We work with felt making womens co-operatives in this region of Central Asia to ensure these ancient techniques are kept alive and that the artisans receive fair payment for their work.
